We help meaningful work become clear, credible, and compelling

Nonprofits rarely lack impact. More often, the evidence of that impact is scattered across data, documents, staff knowledge, financial information, and stories from the people closest to the work.

Inkpactful exists to bring those pieces together.

We help nonprofits communicate what their work accomplished, why it matters, and what donor and funder support made possible. The result is not simply stronger writing. It is a clearer and more persuasive account of impact that strengthens trust and supports continued investment.

Built at the intersection of communications and social impact

Inkpactful was founded by Tasmiha Khan and Shaikh Rahman, bringing together complementary experience in journalism, research, interviewing, strategic communications, and the nonprofit and social-impact sector.

Tasmiha Khan

Tasmiha Khan

Co-founder

Tasmiha brings a substantial background in journalism, nonprofit work, and social impact. Her experience includes working with and reporting on mission-driven organizations, examining how institutions serve communities, and understanding the human realities behind programs, policies, and funding decisions.

Her reporting has appeared in The New York Times, National Geographic, TIME, and Al Jazeera, and she is a Knight Science Journalism Fellow at MIT. That background shapes how we approach interviews, evidence, and the responsibility of representing the people behind an organization's work.

She brings a perspective that keeps Inkpactful's work connected to the people, communities, and missions represented within every report and communication.

Shaikh Rahman

Shaikh Rahman

Co-founder

Shaikh is a writer and communications strategist experienced in translating complex information into clear, engaging content for organizations and audiences across industries.

His work is grounded in research, thoughtful interviewing, and identifying the central idea that gives complicated material structure and meaning. At Inkpactful, he helps organizations make sense of scattered information and shape it into communications people can quickly understand and trust.

Communications need both substance and humanity

Impact communications can become too focused on one side of the equation.

Numbers without context can feel cold or difficult to understand. Stories without supporting evidence may feel moving but incomplete. Polished language cannot compensate for unclear thinking, unsupported claims, or a communication that was never designed around its audience.

Our approach brings those elements together:

  • Credible evidence and financial context
  • Human experiences and stakeholder perspectives
  • A focused narrative that makes the significance of the work clear
  • Strategic attention to what the audience needs to understand, believe, feel, or do

We do not simply collect information and make it sound better. We help determine what matters most, what belongs in the communication, and how the pieces should work together.

A thoughtful, focused way of working

Every engagement begins with listening.

Through Impact Lens™, we clarify the purpose, audience, narrative, evidence, and direction for one important impact communication before production begins.

That means the work is grounded in the organization's real goals, available information, and immediate needs rather than assumptions or a predetermined list of deliverables.

The process gives nonprofit leaders a clearer path forward while allowing Inkpactful to recommend the right level of support for bringing the project to life.

Your work deserves to be understood

The people supporting your organization should be able to see what their trust and investment helped make possible.

Let's bring the evidence, experiences, and significance of your work into focus.
